Morocco - Misc (1/1)

I went to Morocco with Clare, and our friends Suzanne and Barry. Clare took lots of these on her swanky camera.

Barry and Susan, our travel mates
Rainbow over Marrakech's main square
The main square.
The main languages: Arabic, good French and weird English.
Clare and her stuff.
Clare taking a photo.
Rooftop terrace
Satellite TV; there seemed to be a fair number of dishes.
Rooftop; I think this was part of a natural air conditioning system
People on the streets below where we first stayed
People people everywhere.
Mural
These were outside a mosque. Never figured out what they were.
Man feeding pigeons
Planters in the garden in the Riad.
The eggman was stopped by the policeman, presumably for having too many eggs to go through the streets
Fresh eggs! Get your eggs here! Extra, extra! More eggs!
A few restaurants and a carpet shop.
Top of one of the tall towers; there were three towers like this in Morocco.
Pepsi.
No, wait, coke!
Lamp.
There were cats everywhere, scavenging. Most of them seemed healthy and happy enough, but some were pretty slim and tenacious.
Random flora.
Agriculture
Cactusesesi.
Looks like a movie set! It *is* a movie set! Apparently lots of movies like Laurence of Arabia and Gladiator were filmed here.
Tower in the movie town.
Walking man.
That was our van for the desert trip, and most of our cohorts. The donkey was taking people across the stream to the kasbah from the movies.
Clare's (better) photo of the square
Orange juice was plentiful.
Our Riad.
