Status
I am currently happily employed, but on leave from my employer. I'm seeking volunteer opportunities to do economic/environmental research or research assistance.
Co-operative Education
At the University of Waterloo, I completed the co-operative education program. In short, the standard eight four-month school terms were interspersed with four-month work terms. These work terms gave me the opportunity to try out various types of employment, including medium and small software companies, two research environments and one academic non-research environment, as well as the chance to travel to Finland and the United Kingdom, and to earn money to pay the hefty tuition bills.
Courses
In the course-list below, a term like "4A (F03)" indicates the first (A) or second (B) semester of (4)th year, which happened to occur in the (F)all of 20(03). Fall runs from September to December. The other terms are Winter (January to April) and Spring (May to August). To further confuse things, I took one course while on a co-op term in F00, and two courses in Finland.
